Outdoor Fitness Station RangeCardio, Bodyweight Strength, Calisthenics, Stretch and Balance Stations
Outdoor fitness equipment from Run Playgrounds covers cardio stations, lever-type bodyweight strength stations, pull-up and dip bars, calisthenics rigs, stretch and balance stations, and fitness trails laid out along a route.
Every station of this outdoor gym equipment is made in our own workshops from the same Ø114 mm galvanized, powder-coated steel as our playground line, designed to ASTM F3101 and EN 16630 for users 13 and over.
Moving stations turn on sealed bearings in bolted housings, and every station carries its own F part number and an HDPE instruction sign.

Fitness Station Selection by Site and UserParks, HOA Common Areas, School Campuses and Trails
Parks departments, HOA communities, schools with middle-school students, and the dealers and installers who build for them each start from a different site. The same stations go onto each one in a different arrangement.
Park fitness zones
A park usually gets a group of cardio, strength and stretch stations in one fitness zone, often placed beside the playground so families and teens use the site together. The layout draws that group as a separate teen and adult zone with a zone sign at its entry.
HOA common areas
A community common area often has room for a compact set: an air walker, a chest press, a pull-up bar and stretch bars, or one calisthenics rig. Steel colors are chosen from the RAL chart to match the community's architecture, and 3D renders go to the board for approval.
School campuses
Stations are designed for users 13 and over. On a school campus, each station sign carries the 13+ marking and the school decides which grades use the fitness zone.
Fitness trails
For a path or a loop around a park, stations are placed one by one along the route, each on its own footing with its own instruction sign, and a start sign at the beginning of the trail. You send the route on the site plan, and we place the stations along it.
What you get
Every station on your layout with its F number, a single-item plan and elevation, and an item data sheet with dimensions and user limits.

Posts in the ground
Each station stands on the footing given on our footing detail drawing. Posts are set in concrete by default. Anchor-bolt base plates are an option, fixed per the same drawing.
Station Frames and FixingsØ114 mm Galvanized Posts, 304 Tamper-Resistant Bolts and Footings
Every station frame is cut, bent and welded in our steel fabrication workshop, with posts in the same Ø114 mm steel tube with a 3.0 mm wall as our play structure posts. The steel is hot-dip galvanized, then polyester powder coated on our own coating line in the RAL color you choose.
The workshop steps, coating thickness checks and adhesion tests are the same as for our play structures, described on playground equipment manufacturing.
Fixings
Handles, seats, foot plates and benches bolt to the frame with 304 stainless steel tamper-resistant fasteners, capped, so parts cannot be removed without the security bits.

Each station carries a manufacturer label and an age-range label, alongside its instruction sign.

Moving Station BearingsBolted Housings, F Part Numbers and Replacement With the Footing in Place
Each moving joint turns on a Sealed bearingA bearing closed on both faces, so sand, rain and dust stay out of the rolling parts., closed to sand, rain and dust, set in a steel housing that bolts to the frame.
When a bearing wears, your maintenance crew opens the housing and fits a new bearing ordered by its F part number, while the post and its footing stay in place.
Where the bearings are
The stations with parts that turn are the eight below.
Bearings sit at every pivot where a moving arm, plate or wheel meets the fixed frame: the swinging arms of the air walker, the linked arms of the elliptical, the rotating plate of the twister, the lever arms of the strength stations and the hubs of the tai chi wheels.
Each housing is shown on the assembly drawing with its part number.

What stays in place: the post in its concrete footing and the surfacing around it. The moving arm goes back on the same housing.
What you order
Every bearing has its own part number on your part list and packing list, such as F1-008. Send a photo of the station and the part number. Our QC confirms it against your project part list, and a new bearing is made up to the same number.

Moving arms and rubber bumpers have their own F part numbers as well, and are ordered the same way. If your crew needs help, send photos and part numbers and we take a WhatsApp video call booked to your working hours.
Stops, Bumpers and Pivot CoversHow Every Moving Arm Ends Its Travel
Every moving arm on a station has a set end to its travel. We build that end point into the frame so the arm stops the same way every time.
Stops and rubber bumpers
At the end of travel, a moving arm stops on a rubber bumper. On the air walker the foot arms stop at the end of each stride; on the chest press, lat pull-down and leg press the lever arm comes back to rest on a bumper when the user lets go.
Bumpers bolt in place
Each bumper bolts in place and has its own part number, so a worn bumper is replaced without taking the arm off.
Pivot covers
Every bearing housing sits under a Pivot coverA bolted cap over the bearing housing at a moving joint., so the bearing and the joint are closed off from hands and clothing. The cover bolts on with the same 304 tamper-resistant fasteners as the rest of the station.
Checked before packing. Stop and bumper action and the clearance around each moving arm are part of the movement check on every moving station, recorded on video.
Bodyweight and Lever ResistanceStations Worked With the User's Own Body Weight
Resistance on every station comes from the user's own body weight, through Lever resistanceThe user pushes or pulls part of their own body weight through a pivoting arm; no weights, no cables. on the strength stations, so there are no loose weights on site.
Cardio stations
On the air walker and the elliptical trainer, the user moves their own legs and arms through the stride. On the waist twister, the user turns their own body on the rotating plate. On the bodyweight rower, the user pulls their own body weight through the rowing motion.

Lever-type strength stations
On the seated chest press, lat pull-down and leg press, the user sits on the station and pushes or pulls part of their own body weight through a lever arm. The lever arm returns to rest on its bumper at the end of each movement.

Fixed and calisthenics stations
Pull-up bars, dip bars, push-up bars, benches, the horizontal ladder and the calisthenics rig use body weight directly, with nothing that moves.

Every part of each station is fixed to its frame, so there is nothing loose on site to lose or take away. Each station works the same way for every user, and the instruction sign shows how.

Factory Pre-Assembly and Movement CheckCalisthenics Rigs Assembled, Every Moving Station Checked Before Packing
Every station is made to your approved drawing, like the rest of your outdoor order. Nothing comes from a warehouse shelf, and before packing, every station is assembled and checked.
Movement check
Each moving station is assembled with its bearings, arms, bumpers and pivot covers and given a movement check:
- Bearing rotation: every moving joint turns smoothly on its bearing.
- Stop and bumper action: each arm comes to rest on its bumper at the end of travel.
- Moving-arm clearance: the space around each moving arm is checked.
Who signs
Our QC team, independent of the steel and coating workshops that made the parts, does the check and signs off before the station is taken apart.
If a check fails
The part goes on QC hold. The project manager informs you within one business day with photos and the fix, and the part is corrected, the station reassembled and the check repeated.
QC hold · one business dayWhat you get
A video of your own stations, with close views of the connections and the F part numbers in frame, then taken apart, each part numbered and packed against a packing list keyed to part numbers.

Rigs pre-assembled in full
Calisthenics rigs and multi-bar frames are pre-assembled in full in our pre-assembly yard with the outdoor order: posts, pull-up bars, parallel bars, horizontal ladder and wall bars bolted together as they will be on site.
Every connection is checked, openings are checked with entrapment probes and gap gauges, and every part is checked for protrusions and sharp edges.

Filmed station by station
The video is filmed station by station before the parts are taken apart.

Numbered and packed
Stations are made in 20–30 days after drawing approval; the production steps are on how we build playgrounds.
See them yourself
Factory visits can be booked while your own stations are in production, so you see your rig and moving stations against your drawing, or we run a live video tour of the pre-assembly yard on request.

Calisthenics Rigs and Fitness TrailsMulti-Bar Frames and Stations Along a Route
Fitness stations can be ordered as a stand-alone fitness zone, as a fitness trail along a path, or with a full outdoor playground on the same layout and container plan.
Calisthenics rigs
A Calisthenics rigOne multi-bar steel frame carrying pull-up bars, parallel bars, a horizontal ladder and wall bars, so several users train on one structure. combines pull-up bars, parallel bars, a horizontal ladder and wall bars in one multi-bar frame, so several users train on one structure.
The rig is drawn to your site as one frame, on posts with footings from the footing detail drawing, and pre-assembled in full before packing. Each bar and post carries its F part number, so a bar can be reordered on its own.
Rig sizes
The number of bars and bays is drawn to your space and the stations you want on it. Dimensions and user limits are on the item data sheet.
Fitness trails
A trail spreads stations along a path: for example a stretch station near the start, cardio and strength stations along the way and a pull-up bar near the end.
Each station stands on its own footing with its own sign, and the start sign gives the trail overview. The trail is drawn onto your site plan with every station and footing placed, so your installer sets them out along the route.
Phase two. Stations added later are ordered to the same project file, part numbers and colors.

Fitness Zone Layout, Surfacing and Footings
Zone
The layout draws the fitness area as a separate teen and adult zone, with a zone sign at its entry, kept apart from the play zones on the drawing. Design compliance statements for each station and the standards behind them are on playground safety standards.
Surfacing
The surfacing under each station is drawn to what the standard requires for that station and entered in the surfacing thickness zone plan and area table. Surfacing materials are partner-built and listed on playground surfacing.

Footings
We supply the footing detail drawings, anchoring hardware, numbered parts, installation drawings and videos. Installation support is on playground equipment installation; warranty terms and quotation lines are explained on playground equipment cost.
